Experienced Restaurant Managers

 

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering superior customer service and satisfaction to our guests.

• Maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals.

• Creating detailed weekly, monthly and annual revenue and expense reports.

• Controlling operational costs to cut wastes and identifying food measures.

• Ensuring Rocco’s Restaurant & Bar maintains exceptional customer-service standards, quality of food, high productivity, sanitation and safety standards.

• Scheduling and supervising employee shifts.

• Training new and current employees on proper customer service practices.

• Appraising staff performance and providing professional feedback.

• Recommending advertisement and discounting methods to reach a broader audience.

 

Requirements:

 

• 1 year minimum of Restaurant Manager experience for a high volume restaurant.

• A passion for culinary excellence, wine knowledge, and service.

• An ability to develop and manage a team with a strong sense of urgency.

• Effective cost control, financial and waste management skills.

• Basic mathematical skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or Culinary preferred.

• ServSafe and TIPS Certified preferred.

Executive Chefs

 

Primary Responsibilities Include:

 

• Working under the direction of the General Manager to be a key contributor to the direction of the kitchen and running the restaurant.

• Overseeing the production of daily menus and making recommendations for specials.

• Adhering to strict quality control guidelines, ensuring that all food and safety sanitation systems meet all local, state and federal requirements.

• Actively seeking out guest feedback to evaluate kitchen performance and identify any areas for improvement; making adjustments as necessary.

• Purchasing and maintaining daily food orders and inventory levels.

• Hiring, training and developing kitchen staff, including line cooks and dishwashers.

• Scheduling kitchen staff to meet the operation’s needs while staying within labor budget.

• Motivating staff to achieve operational goals.

• Providing discipline as needed and conducting performance reviews.

 

Requirements:

 

• 3 years minimum of experience as an Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager for a high volume restaurant.

• A passion for culinary excellence, wine knowledge, and service.

• Experience in menu design and pricing.

• Collaborating with the Executive Chef on daily specials.

• Maintaining proper food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a clean and safe environment.

• Evaluating the proper orders and  inventory of products on hand.

• Acting on behalf of the Executive Chef when the Executive Chef is absent in matters of organizing, training and employee management.

 

Requirements:

 

• 1 year minimum of experience as a Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager for a high volume restaurant.

• A passion for culinary excellence, wine knowledge, and service.

• An ability to develop and manage a team with a strong sense of urgency.

• Written and verbal comprehension of the English language.

• Culinary degree preferred.

• Preparing stocking stations with all necessary supplies needed for the restaurant. (Previous experience required).

• Understanding proper use and maintenance of major kitchen equipment including refrigeration, slicer, knives, stoves and dishwasher.

• 1 year minimum of experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook for a high volume restaurant.

• A passion for culinary excellence and guest experience.

• A strong sense of urgency and ability to adapt in a fast paced environment.

• Ability to run a line in a swift manner.

• Written and verbal comprehension of the English language.

• Culinary degree and ServSafe preferred.
